Amber and Lily are sharing a room at a hotel while traveling together. Lily steps out for the morning and Amber stays at the room alone. When Amber walks into the living room, she sees the front desk clerk has let himself into their room and is waiting anxiously. The conversation is brief before he holds a purple crystal up to Amber's eyes and begins to swing it back and forth.
