Lysette
is a poet and she's busy working on her next book. Too busy to pay any
attention to her boyfriend. She's short and rude with him all the time,
and he just wishes he could change her bad attitude. He wonders if he
could hypnotize her and make her into a more pleasant girlfriend. He
holds a gold pocket watch up to Lysette's eyes and swings it back and
forth. To his surprise, she goes into a trance. Lysette stares blankly
ahead and follows all of his suggestions. She sees her boyfriend as her
master and does anything she is told.
