Koa is excited to break in the new heels she just bought from the mall. She puts them on and suddenly her face goes blank. She cannot think. Koa’s mind is overridden by a computer chip in place on the botton of one of her heels. Her brain is reformatted and updated with a new firmware she downloads from the manufacturer, once she establishes a network connection. Koa’s programming puts her through a series of compliance tests and designates her as Unit 1017. A nice gentleman from Robo Corps soon arrives and Unit 1017 is then outfitted with a uniform and prepared for transport back to the warehouse.
