Alice finds an old pocket watch on her counter top. She figures her husband must have left it there for some odd reason. She holds it up to examine it, but accidentally hypnotizes herself with it. Alice stares mindlessly into space. Shortly after, the repairman shows up for a scheduled appointment. He realizes that Alice is in a hypnotic trance and takes advantage of his good fortune. He makes Alice see him as her master and obey his every command while her husband is away at work.
